Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson made WNBA history vs. the Dallas Wings at the Michelob ULTRA Arena in Paradise, Nevada, on Sunday. Here’s what you need to know about her latest accomplishment.

Wilson concluded Sunday’s home game on a positive note. Wilson, 29, finished with 34 points, 8 rebounds, 2 steals, and 3 blocks, along with going 11-for-16 from the field and 11-for-14 from the line.

She also tied Angel McCoughtry for the second-most 30-point games in WNBA history. McCoughtry, 38, last played for the Minnesota Lynx in 2022.

Star Player Shines

Aside from Sunday’s big game, Wilson has been shining in WNBA stats as a center and a former No. 1 overall pick of the 2018 WNBA Draft. She has averaged 22.3 points, 10 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 1.6 steals in 2025. Her career averages are 21.2 points, 9.3 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.2 steals. She has not only been a star player but also an exceptional leader for her teammates and fans alike.

Final Thoughts

Wilson was a large factor in the Las Vegas Aces’ 106-87 win over the Dallas Wings on Sunday. However, Las Vegas also made a season-high 18 three-pointers during Sunday’s game. Kierstan Bell hit a career-high six 3-pointers on seven attempts and finished with 18 points for the Aces. NaLyssa Smith scored 14 points, while Jewell Loyd added 12 points on 4-for-8 shooting from downtown. Las Vegas has won seven straight games and nine of the last 10.
