Ben Stiller’s Viral Knicks Video Included a Surprise Taylor Swift Cameo
Stiller added a cinematic touch to the moment by using a black-and-white filter on the video, giving the clip an emotional, movie-like feel as the Garden erupted around him.
The footage also featured a surprise cameo from Taylor Swift, who was sitting courtside alongside an A-list celebrity crowd that included Adam Sandler, Jerry Seinfeld, Timothée Chalamet, and sisters HAIM.
The celebrity-packed front row witnessed a game that instantly entered NBA history.
Knicks Pulled Off One of the Greatest NBA Finals Comebacks Ever
The Knicks trailed by as many as 29 points early in the third quarter before storming all the way back with an unbelievable 55-25 closing run.
The comeback officially became the largest rally ever completed in an NBA Finals game, surpassing the previous record set by the Boston Celtics against the Los Angeles Lakers in 2008.
Anunoby’s putback finish delivered the final dagger and sent Madison Square Garden into complete chaos, which Stiller’s video perfectly captured from just feet away from the action.
Knicks Now One Win Away From NBA Championship
The dramatic Game 4 victory gave New York a commanding 3-1 series lead over San Antonio as the franchise inches closer to its first NBA championship since the 1972-73 season.
For Knicks fans, the moment already feels legendary.
For Stiller, it may have resulted in the most iconic video he has ever recorded, and perhaps the perfect snapshot of one of the wildest nights in Madison Square Garden history.
