It has been doomy and gloomy for Carlo Ancelotti and his family. The Italian manager is set to be kicked out of Real Madrid as manager as Los Blancos have lost their hold on the Champions League and La Liga. However, every sadness has happiness in waiting, and positive vibes seem to come out of the Ancelotti family.
According to recent reports, Carlo’s son has reportedly been given his first managerial job in football. This comes just a few days after his dad agreed to take over as the coach of the Brazilian national team. This is great news for the family who have seen much trouble this season together at Real Madrid. However, this fresh approach could bring Carlo’s family back into the football working community.
The Collaboration Of Ancelotti Junior and Senior
If anyone thinks Ancelotti’s son is going straight into managerial football, they are wrong. Carlo and son Davide have worked together at Bayern Munich, Napoli, Everton, and Real Madrid. However, due to poor performances this season at Real Madrid, the duo will part ways at the end of the season.
However, Davide’s reports are something that has caught everyone off guard. According to the reports from SunSport, Ancelotti’s son has been offered a managerial job at Rangers. Carlo is set to take over Brazil, but the news is not official yet. President Florentino Perez wanted the club to focus on the La Liga race with FC Barcelona, as any decisions would be made at the season’s end. As the whites have lost their La Liga crown to the Catalans, it is only a matter of time before Carlo gets axed.
Xabi Alonso has been appointed as Real Madrid’s new manager. The former Los Blancos player will take over from Ancelotti after he left Bayer Leverkusen. Alonso left the Bundesliga giants after winning them the title last season. The German team almost went the entire season undefeated before losing the Europa League final to Atalanta.
Situation At Rangers
If Real Madrid’s situation is complex, Rangers’ situation is highly volatile, too. Davide Ancelotti must be aware of the size of the task and the kind of club he’s entering. The Scottish giants are hunting for a new manager after confirming Barry Ferguson’s farewell at the end of the season. Davide was previously linked with a move to Serie A side Como, as Cesc Fabregas is set to leave at the end of the season.
Davide hopes to assist his father in his international duty against Ecuador and Paraguay. Rangers are also monitoring Russell Martin and Sean Dyche. Neither of those managers has had any managerial jobs since Southampton and Everton, respectively.
