Dallas Mavericks Fans Face Surge in Gameday Costs

There’s no doubt the Dallas Mavericks averaged 20,079 fans per game during the 2024-25 NBA season. The American Airlines Center has been a packed house for Mavericks fans, making for a big commitment from fans. The American Airlines Center’s energy is electric.

However, new research from Hard Rock Bet has revealed Mavericks fans have experienced the sixth biggest surge in gameday costs across the NBA. The average Mavericks fan’s gameday experience has skyrocketed to $477.09 — a 282% increase over 34 years.

Hard Rock Bet’s study calculated the full fan experience, including factors such as ticket prices, sodas, and hot dogs. The Mavericks are No. 6 in the NBA for the most inflated gameday costs.

Mavericks Fans’ Previous Gameday Costs

Dallas Mavericks fans now face an average of $477.09 in 2025. Previously, Mavericks fans paid an average of $125.02 (adjusted for inflation) in 1991.

The Mavericks rank sixth in the NBA’s most inflated gameday costs, while the Golden State Warriors rank first with $740.08 in 2025 compared to $139.00 in 1991 and the Los Angeles Clippers rank eighth with $519.14 in 2025 compared to $137.60 in 1991.
