=Washington Huskies Quarterback Demond Williams Jr. will reportedly return to the school for the 2026 season. He agreed to a new NIL deal to remain at the school. This news was first reported by ESPN’s Pete Thamel. Williams is coming off a stellar season. He was top 25 in the nation in both touchdown passes and QBR. Will he be able to build on this in 2026?

What To Expect From Williams In 2026?

More of the same should be expected entering the 2026 season for the Washington Huskies. The Huskies finished the season 9-4 and 5-4 in a loaded Big Ten. The quarterback is expected to be one of the best in the nation next season, and a top draft pick in the 2027 NFL Draft if he decides to declare at this time next year.

Final Thoughts

With the Transfer Portal opening today, the Huskies retaining Williams is a huge story. He will look to keep developing in Head Coach Jedd Fisch’s system.
