The Green Bay Packers have made a late addition to their injury report ahead of their matchup with the Arizona Cardinals. Starting cornerback Keisean Nixon has been listed as questionable for Sunday’s game due to an illness.
Green Bay Packers Keisean Nixon Added to Injury Report
The update adds uncertainty to a secondary that will face the Cardinals at State Farm Stadium. Nixon, a key starter and the team’s primary kick returner, was not previously listed on the report this week, indicating the illness is a recent development. His potential absence would be a significant blow to Green Bay’s defensive plans.
In corresponding moves, the Packers made several adjustments to their active roster. Center/guard Jacob Monk has been activated from injured reserve after recovering from a hamstring injury he sustained during training camp, making him available for the game.
Other Moves Before Week 7
Additionally, the team elevated two players from the practice squad for gameday: defensive end Arron Mosby and running back Pierre Strong Jr. These moves provide depth at key positions ahead of the Week 7 contest.
The Packers (3-1-1) will take on the Cardinals (2-4) at 3:25 p.m. CT. Nixon’s official status will likely be confirmed closer to kickoff.
