With a stolen base in the first inning tonight against the Cincinnati Reds, Milwaukee Brewers Center Fielder Jackson Chourio made history. He became the youngest player in league history, 21, to have multiple 20-20 seasons. He also amassed 20 home runs and 20 stolen bases during the 2024 campaign. Will the young center fielder keep taking the league by storm?
Jackson Chourio Career Summary
Chourio has been a crucial piece for the Milwaukee Brewers since debuting with the ballclub last season. This season has been an especially strong one for the Brewers. With a win this weekend or any loss by the Philadelphia Phillies, Milwaukee will lock up the best record in the National League. That means the National League Playoffs will go through American Family Field.
He has been an important piece for Milwaukee’s high-flying offense this season. They are third in the league in batting average, 21st in home runs, and third in runs scored.
Final Thoughts
Chourio and the Brewers will close out the regular season with two more games on Saturday and Sunday against the Cincinnati Reds. Milwaukee will look to continue playing well and carry this momentum into the 2025 MLB Playoffs.
