Jordan Brand Adds To WNBA Roster With Napheesa Collier

Jordan Brand

Minnesota Lynx star Napheesa Collier has signed with the Jordan Brand WNBA roster. The Jordan Brand is adding to its WNBA roster with the recent spike in popularity in the last few seasons. The announcement coincides with the start of the WNBA season. Collier is the reigning WNBA Defensive Player of the Year and also an Olympic Gold Medalist. Collier personifies what the Jordan Brand is all about and that is commitment to moving the game of basketball forward.

 Jordan Brand’s WNBA Roster

The Jordan Brand has cashed in on the current popularity spike in women’s basketball. They hope it could have the same effect Jordan himself had back in 1984. Jordan Brand is investing in trailblazers like Collier, who is helping reshape the way women tackle the off-season.

Collier is the co-founder of Unrivaled, a three-on-three women’s basketball league that women can play in during the offseason instead and going overseas to play to help supplement pay. Everyone remembers the Britney Griner situation in which she was arrested in Russia for a vape. This is huge as the Jumpman brand also announced on their X feed that 11 other upcoming stars in the WNBA are signing with the brand.

Final Thoughts

This signing is a great sign of what is to come for this young league, the WNBA. It seems as if the growth trajectory is a positive one. The Jumpman brand has committed to expanding the game of basketball to the whole world, and signing this much talent from the WNBA is a great sign.

Collier continues to show why she is a marquee name in the WNBA and this brand deal just justifies that more. Stay tuned all season long for everything WNBA on Total Apex Sports.
