Kansas City Chiefs Draft DT Omarr Norman-Lott At No. 63 Overall

The Kansas City Chiefs have added another athletic pass rusher to the mix. With the 63rd overall pick, Kansas City drafted defensive tackle Omarr Norman-Lott in Round 2. Norman-Lott spent last season at Tennessee after transferring from Arizona State. Despite not starting, he made an impact as a rotational interior presence for the Volunteers.

Norman-Lott is not the biggest defensive tackle in this draft. At 6-foot-1 and 291 pounds, he lacks the ideal size that many teams prioritize in terms of the interior. What he does bring is energy, burst, and relentless motor. His first step is quick, his hands are active and his base is strong.

Norman-Lott finished his collegiate career with 9.5 sacks over two SEC seasons. He was disruptive in limited snaps and proved difficult for guards to handle in space.
