The Milwaukee Bucks have been dealt a significant blow to their bench depth, as key reserve forward Taurean Prince is expected to miss a significant amount of time. The team announced that Prince has been diagnosed with a herniated disc in his neck and will be sidelined indefinitely.

A Tough Blow for the Milwaukee Bucks

The news, first reported by Shams Charania of ESPN, was later confirmed by the Bucks. An MRI revealed the herniated disc, and the team stated that Prince will be out as medical staff and specialists determine the best course of treatment. This type of injury is serious and often requires a lengthy and careful recovery process, making his return to the court uncertain.

Prince had been a valuable piece for Milwaukee through the first eight games of the season. The 6-foot-6 forward provided a much-needed combination of perimeter shooting and defensive versatility off the bench. He was off to a hot start from beyond the arc, shooting an impressive 42.9% on his 3-point attempts.
