Philadelphia Phillies Starting Pitcher Jesus Luzardo has been great in his first 10 starts with the team. He joined Randy Johnson as the only other lefty to go undefeated with a sub-2.00 ERA and 10.00+ K/9 over their first 10 starts of a season.
Luzardo has also taken the league by storm in his first 10 starts with the Philadelphia Phillies. He joined an exclusive list of pitchers to go unbeaten with a sub-2.00 ERA in the first 10 games with a new team since 1990. He joined Max Scherzer in 2021 with the Dodgers, CC Sabathia in 2008 with the Brewers, among others.
Luzardo has spent the last four seasons with the Miami Marlins. He signed a one-year deal with the Phillies this offseason. Luzardo is 5-0 this season with a 1.95 ERA. He is top 10 in the league in wins, ERA, and strikeouts. Will he continue pitching at such a high level?
