Bradley Beal will rejoin his Phoenix Suns teammates in Boston this Friday. Suns star Devin Booker and Beal will have an uphill battle without Kevin Durant, who did not take the road trip with the team due to an ankle sprain. The Celtics just snapped a nine-game winning streak on Wednesday and have secured playoff seeding. All of the pressure in this contest falls on the Suns to beat a largely favored opponent at home with their season on the line.

Phoenix Suns Star Player to Return to Lineup

Bradley Beal will be returning from a left hamstring injury, which caused him to miss the last eight games. The Suns are looking to salvage enough wins to stay in for the play in the tournament. Currently, ESPN has Phoenix playoff chances at 2.9%.  Beal is averaging 17.3 points this season. Teammate Devin Booker says about Beal returning, “We definitely need him. He’s a piece that we’ve been missing. Just make sure he’s healthy and ready to go.”

The Suns need any help they can get to snap a four-game losing streak. I do expect them to fight in this game and, hopefully, be able to score the ball on offense as well. Expect them to cover the spread at +11.5 (-110).

Boston Celtics’ 9-Game Winning Streak Comes to End

Even after Golden State ended Boston’s nine-game winning streak earlier this week, they are still the favorite here. Both teams could be out a star player, with Jaylen Brown being day-to-day due to his right knee. The Celtics last visited the Suns on March 26 and won 132-102. I think with Boston’s momentum broken and the Suns having their season on the line, the Celtics may have a hard time covering the spread on this one. However, if you’re a Celtics fan, I would take the over at 222 (-110) for this game.

Final Picks

Point total over 222 (-110) and Suns +11.5 (-110).
