Atlanta Braves Right Fielder Ronald Acuna Jr. has not missed a beat since his extended injury absence. He missed almost a year following an ACL injury he suffered in May 2024. He has been great since he returned the diamond a month ago. He is hitting .396 with 9 home runs and 16 RBI this season. Will the star player keep faring this well at the plate as the summer marches on?
Ronald Acuna Jr. Career Summary
Acuna Jr. has been one of the best players in Major League Baseball since debuting with the Atlanta Braves in 2018. He took the league by storm by being named the Rookie of the Year that season. He is also a four-time MLB All-Star, three-time Silver Slugger, and the 2023 National League MVP. He has regained his MVP form since his return a month ago. Atlanta has not played up to expectations this season. If the perennial all-star can continue playing this well, Atlanta has a playoff push in its future.
Final Thoughts
Acuna Jr. and the Braves return to the diamond this evening for the second game of their three-game set against the New York Mets. The star player will look to keep up his tremendous 2025 season.
