Today’s contract news is a homecoming for Griffin. He was drafted No. 90 overall by the Seattle Seahawks in the 2017 NFL Draft. He spent the first four seasons of his career in Seattle. The veteran cornerback’s NFL career has included stints with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Houston Texans, Carolina Panthers, and Minnesota Vikings. The best season of his career came in 2019 when he made his lone Pro Bowl appearance. He has 407 career tackles, 9 interceptions, and 1 forced fumble.
Final Thoughts
Griffin will look to contribute to the Seahawks defense in 2025. He will play alongside Safety Julian Love and Cornerback Devon Witherspoon in the secondary. He hopes that success will follow during his second stint in Seattle.
