Atlanta Braves Starting Pitcher Spencer Schwellenbach had a performance to remember this afternoon on the road against the Milwaukee Brewers. He tossed the first complete game of his career and fanned 9. He only surrendered five hits and limited the Brewers to 1-o-4 with RISP. His performance helped the Braves prevail 6-2 and take two of three games against the Brewers. It has been a solid regular season for Schwellenbach. He is 5-4 with a 3.11 ERA. Will his great start help the Atlanta Braves finally get on track?

Schwellenbach made his MLB debut on May 29, 20224 against the Washington Nationals. He has been a solid pitcher ever since making his debut. He has been a consistent performer again in 2025. In what has been an extremely disappointing season for the Atlanta Braves, the young starting pitcher has been one of the few bright spots.
Final Thoughts
Schwellenbach’s next scheduled start is June 18 at home against the New York Mets. He dominated the New York Mets in 2024. He surrendered 2 earned runs over 21 innings of work. He will look to continue his dominance of the New York Mets when he faces them next week.
